A winter-time view of the oil-rich hills which surround the city of Zartosht to the north.

Zätosht (Babkhi: Zartosht; Ruthenian: Zyatosht) is a Surenid, formerly Zeedic, Bassarid and Babkhan, city in the Ḡur Republic. Its population was around 250,000 as of 1693 AN.

During its time under Bassarid hands it was a trading port. It was joined with Pallisican Port Felix in forming the Province of the River Erik. It had a Ministry of Zätosht, which was a a missionary order of the Stripping Part. Its main economy, however, was based on oil. The area around Zätosht is high in oil concentration. Zeedic and Ghur authorities established mechanisms for oil extraction, refinery, and exportation.

As a cons of the Third Euran War, the city and its environs were occupied by the Surenids during 1699 AN as a counteroffensive drove into Zeedic territory. The ensuing armistice saw the Ghur Khanate surrendered to the Suren, terminating the conflict.
