The People's Academy of Elwynn, founded in Eliria in 1551 by Rai Avon-El, lives on in Free Elwynn despite its dissolution in mainland Elwynn in 1699. In Cimmeria and Hyperborea, it continues to bear the same name as originally founded. With it being cut off from its financing via the Avon-El fund, the Congress of Free Elwynn incorporated the People's Academy of Elwynn as a state-owned university system. The Vankarha Su Mek, previously an independent university, was incorporated into the reorganized People's Academy of Elwynn.
The People's Academy in Free Elwynn thus consists of the following colleges:
- Vankarha Su Mek
- Lewis College, Minas Valhalla (Cromswind, Cimmeria)
- Snealandyx College, Minas Aullarion (Icefire, Cimmeria)
- Wolfraven College, Wolfraven (Cimmeria)
