International High Commission in the Florian Republic

The International High Commission in the Florian Republic (IHA) is an international authority supervising the peace treaty conditions for the Florian Republic. Established in the aftermath of the Florian theatre of War of Lost Brothers by the Florian Republic, the USSO, and the SANE Alliance (now Raspur Pact). The IHA headquarters is in Dragonmoor.

The Florian Peace Treaty specifies:

The Commission is tasked with overseeing the Florian Republic’s decommissioning of all its military hardware, software, infrastructure, and weaponry. The Florian Republic shall decommission all its weapons. The Commission’s mandate lasts twenty-four Norton years. The Commission shall adjudicate all disputes (with a 4–5 majority) of interpretations of this treaty, but may cause injunctions with a simple majority for the duration of a trial.

4. The Florian Republic shall not, without securing the consent of 4 members out of the 5, in the Commission, undertake any constitutional changes, ratify international obligations, or engage in heavy industrialization.

Members

There are five members of the Commission, two of which are appointed by the USSO, two from the Raspur Pact, and one, the high commissioner and presiding officer, appointed by the USSO and the Raspur Pact in conjunction with the MTO Secretary General. That role is currently filled by the Caputian statesman Christophe Landry.
