Wui Tsan (1634 -...) was a Jingdaoese janitor, promoted to become an important diplomat. In 1670 AN, he became the official representative of his Empire in the International High Commission in the Florian Republic. Later that year, his role was extended to becoming a representative to the Apollonian and Euran Economic Union, as Jingdao entered as observer.
Life
Wui Tsan was a simple man: born as the son of a janitor, he knew that he would have the honour to serve as janitor himself. When he became thirty, he received the honour of serving as janitor in one of the ministries. Not long after this, he married a nice girl. But one day he began suspecting his wife being a Shirerithian spy, so he did what any good Jing would do: scrub the staircase, making it sufficiently wet so his wife would trip. Incidentally, a few others fell down the stairs too (crushing his wife in the process), but this was simply the cost of true patriotism. She died instantly. A fate too good for a traitor. He was rewarded for his loyalty and sent to work in the Heavenly Palace. Here he eventually became Chief Janitor.
In 1670 his work did not go unnoticed and he was promoted (or demoted according to colleagues) to cleaning up international politics. Rumours have it that the promotion was mostly based on the fact that as a janitor of the Heavenly Palace, Wui Tsan already had some experience with meeting foreigners. Him being able to avoid spitting in their faces out of contempt, made him the best candidate available.
When the Apollonian and Euran Economic Union unsurprisingly collapsed under the disorganization of the Florians in 1675 AN, Wui was called back to Daocheng to take up his task as janitor in the Outer Forbidden City. There he kept an eye on visiting diplomats and dignitariesas a seemingly normal janitor, while directly reporting to the Stewards.
