The West Amokolia national football team is the football team which represents the micronation of West Amokolia. It is a member of the WMFA. The team is the official predecessor and successor of Francia.
The team was seen as the spiritual successor of Amokolia in that the vast majority of its players originated from this nation's team, but it did not retain its records. It has existed twice in the FMF's history; firstly in 2019, and secondly since mid-2020.
History
The team was founded in mid-2019 after West Amokolia successfully claimed on Micras after seceding from Shireroth. Soon afterwards, the team competed in the inaugural Vulture Cup, finishing third in their group with two points. In late 2019, West Amokolia left Micras after being succeeded by Francia. As Francia, the team placed third in their four-team 2020 Benacia Cup qualification group before reverting to the name West Amokolia in mid-2020.
