The Countess of Cimmeria and Illumination (or, if held by a man, Count of Cimmeria and Illumination) is a Shirerithian title of nobility in the Imperial Peerage.

Originally created as Count of Illimination and Cimmeria by King Noah of Elwynn as an Elwynnese title of nobility in 1633, upon which Alix Verion was bestowed the title. Alix Verion unfortunately found the King's disfavour during the 1635 Elwynnese elections. Thus he was replaced as count by Noah's grandfather's sister Geirbjörg Gefialdrsdottir, who held the title until 1651 when she was removed of the title during the Auspicious Occasion.

The new king Vilhjalm of Elwynn and the Council of Eliria ruled the removal of Alix Verion's title to have been illegal. However, Alix Verion had been dead in 1639. As such, it was ruled that the title had been succeeded to by his niece Eki Verion. In 1668, during the destruction of the Imperial States, the title was imperialized, that is, transferred from the Elwynnese peerage to the Imperial Peerage. With Eki Verion having used the title inverted (i.e. "Cimmeria and Illumination", rather than "Illumination and Cimmeria"), the use had been established in official channels for a long time. It was therenove imperialized with Cimmeria first. In 1664, Eki Verion was removed from the title, only to be restored the year after.

In 1672, upon the request of the republican government in the newly independent Elwynn, the Shirerithian government suppressed all noble titles, including this one, relating to Elwynnese geography. As such, the legal use of the title for Eki Verion came to an end.
