Emirati Red Lion and Sun Society

The Emirati Red Lion and Sun Society is a Sathrati humanitarian organisation. Inspired by and modelled after the Red Sun and Moon Society in Sanama the Red Orchid Society in Elwynn, which in turn was inspired by the Red Lion and Sun Society of Babkha, it received its charter in 1682 from the emirati government of Sathrati.

The Red Lion and Sun is an important symbol in Babkhi culture, which is the dominant culture of the elite in Sathrati.

As of 1682, the Emirati Red Lion and Sun Society has applied for membership in the Organisation of Red Symbol Societies.
