The Ashkenatza national football team is the football team which represents the micronation of Ashkenatza. It is a member of the WMFA.

History

The team was founded in 2008 after Ashkenatza's Micrasian claim was successful. The team was entered into the qualifiers for the 2009 FMF World Cup, where they finished second in their group behind Tellia, advancing to the play-offs where they lost 5–1 to Batavia on aggregate.

The team finished third in their four-team group in the following year's qualifiers.

In the 2011 qualifiers, the team finished third in the WMFA's six-team group, advancing them to the interconfederational play-off. The team qualified for 2011 FMF World Cup by virtue of the away goals rule after a 2–2 aggregate scoreline against Zandarijn. In the finals, the team finished bottom of their group despite winning their opening match against fellow débutants Victoria.

The team is currently competing in the 2012 FMF World Cup qualification rounds.
