Yikuang Xan, both monk and chairman of the most important advisory council of the Empire.

Yikuang Xan (1638 - ...) was a Jingdaoese politician and prominent member of the Gong Suweiai. Born as son of merchant, he threw away the material possessions and became a monk to spread the Wise Words of the Heavenly Light. During a sermon, he was noticed by Zhang San, who convinced him to serve the Empire with his clear and righteous voice from within the power structure. He was appointed by the Chidao Emperor as advisor in 1659 AN and served from 1660 till present as chairman of the advisory council.

He is part of the Guanchang Faction.
