Anthony Malvicino is a Vegnese professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper both Lega A Vegnese club Sancrus and the Vegno national team.

Club career

Sancrus FC

Malvicino began his career in Sancrus FC, being included in the first squad that appears for the first time, in 2022, in the newly created Campionato Vegnese di Calcio. He made his debut with the Bianconeri shirt in the first match of the 2022 season, lost 1-0 against U.S. Città di Murgione.

He immediately proved to be one of the best goalkeepers in Vegno, winning the Best Goalkeeper award at the end of the season, despite not winning the championship. Even in the following seasons he remained at Sancrus FC, becoming a cornerstone of the team and vice-captain. His excellent performances allowed the team to reach second place in the 22-23 and 23-24 seasons, just a whisker away from winning the championship. In 22-23 season he also made his debut in the AEFA Champions' League, reaching the semi-finals with the team, results beaten the year after when Sancrus FC reaches the final of the tournament.

In the 3 years in Sancrus FC he collected 5 trophies: 3 Bonfire Cups and 2 Supercoppe Vegnesi, as well as the Award of Best Goalkeeper in Lega A Vegnese for 3 consecutive years.

International career

Malvicino was called up to the first squad of the Vegno national football team for the debut in the 2022 Krasnovlac Tri-Nations Series. Since his first call-up in 2022, Malvicino has always been called up and is the only player to have played all the national team's matches since its creation.

In 2023 he was included in the national team list for the 2023 FMF World Cup in Mercury, where the team finished in the quarterfinals, losing to Phinbella.

In 2024 was also called up for the 2024 Copa Apollonia, played at home in Vegno, where the team reached the final third place.
