Qerelzhan Shagul (born 13.VI.1676 in Galarmjabat, Samana) is the current President of Sanama. On 4.VIII.1736 she was nominated to the Common Court of the Micras Treaty Organization by the government. If her nomination is successful, the President of the Council of People's Republics would assume the presidency in an acting capacity until a new election is called.

Early life

Shagul was born to Lhostenasch Shagul, a taxi driver, and Ridade Besleney, a shop owner, in the majority Laqi city of Galarmjabat, Sanama. Shagul excelled at school, with her parents pushing her to perform in an effort to escape the impoverished city. At 17, Shagul got married due to a teen pregnancy. She and her husband divorced five years later. Her daughter was largely brought up by her parents, while Shagul attended Niyi Free University, studying for a law degree. At 27 Shagul earned her doctorate in international law and human rights.

First term

The most notable action by President Shagul during her first term was the mediation between the Benacian Union and Shireroth for exchange of remains following the downing of a Shirerithian state flight and the execution of a BU diplomat. Her work contributed to an easing of tensions on the Benacian continent and made a second term as president certain.
