The 9th Federal Congress of Oportia is the current meeting of the legislative branch of the government of the State of Oportia, composed of the Chamber of Deputies of Oportia and the Senate of Oportia. It convened in Vanie, Oportia following the 1738 general election, which resulted in the Liberal Progressive Party of Oportia gaining control of both chambers under the banner of the Green Progressive Alliance. The 9th Congress has enacted major environmental and economic reforms under Federal Representative Francisco Valverde's "New Balance" agenda.
