The Federal Conservative Union of Oportia (FCU) was a conservative political party in Oportia during the Second Republic, advocating conservatism, economic liberalism, nationalism, and the preservation of traditional values. Under the leadership of Lawrence Marchelier from 1729 AN, the FCU stood on the right of Second Republic politics, promoting policies aimed at strengthening national identity and maintaining social order based on historical and cultural principles. The party was headquartered in the Oportian capital, Vanie. It had originally been founded as the Conservative Nationalist Party of Oportia (CNP) in 1706 AN, rebranding as the FCU before the 1726 general elections.
The FCU was suppressed after the 1744 Oportian coup d'état and dissolved during the National Salvation Council junta of 1744 AN to 1745 AN. Under the Third Oportian Republic, its conservative tradition was reconstituted when the surviving FCU and Liberty Now! Movement networks merged in XIII.1750 AN to form the Republican Party of Oportia (RPO).
