The Liberal Progressive Party of Oportia (LPP) was a major progressive and liberal political party in Oportia during the Second Republic, and the largest party of that era. Founded in 1706 AN and long led by Fatima Gaugin, it advocated environmental protection, social equality, and liberal economic reform, and anchored the Second Republic's progressive and environmental bloc alongside the Green Party of Oportia (GPO), with which it formed the Green Progressive Alliance under Francisco Valverde in III.1738 AN. The party was headquartered in Vanie.
The LPP was dissolved during the National Salvation Council junta of 1744 AN to 1745 AN. Under the Third Oportian Republic, its progressive and liberal tradition was absorbed into the Democratic Restoration Coalition (DRC), and it follows the Coalition's 1758 AN realignment.
