History

Founded in 2017, as the first professional football team from Etourney, the team finished 2nd in the Florian Championship, in its inaugural season and was therefore promoted to Super League Football. However, they would be relegated the season after into the new second-tier competition, Super League Football 2 in April 2019. On the 9th April 2019, Farrar International bought 20% of the clubs shares and links with Northcliff United were created. On the same day, Jim Spencer the head coach agreed to leave with mutual consent. He was replaced by Northcliff United reserve coach, Ricky Daugherty. In the 2020–2021 season Etourney FC would exceed expectations after being promoted from SLF 2 and reach the playoffs. Etourney FC would then be eliminated by Florian superclub Dragonmoor FC after extra time who would then go on to reach the final and eventually win the league. After an impressive season, interest in Etournian players rose and many would leave to join teams in the mainland mostly due to the less time spent on travelling to fixtures. This took a heavy toll on the teams' domestic form at the start of 2021-22 season but Etourney FC would have their best performance in the CTFA Champions' League reaching the Semi-Finals. After a disastrous first half to the season, Etourney FC would eventually finish 11th under interim head coach, Josh Harper, former manager of Northcliff United.

Support

Etourney FC is the main professional sports team in the Florian territory and therefore the most supported. Despite playing in large blocks of home or away matches. Away support is healthy as travel is subsidised by Super League Football sponsors. Despite not having the strongest squad on paper, Etourney FC fans have pride that the majority of the players are homegrown and that non-Florian players are not permitted to play for the club.
