Iakovos Raynor (died in 1650) was Anti-Kaiser in 1650. Upon the death of Kaiseress Noor, Iakovos declared himself kaiser, proclaiming that the young Kaiser Ayreon IV was too young to rule. Iakovos's claim was funded by the Melanje family to which his relative Kaiser Cedris (Giles Melang) belonged. Unlike Cedris, however, Iakovos (or James as he was called in his family) claimed blood right through the Imperial Bloodline of Raynor. Most scholars rejected this claim however.
Iakovos was arrested on orders of Steward Kyle Kilynn and was to due to be deported. However, he appealed the deporation. A court reviewed his case, and found him guilty of treason. He was sentenced to death on 9.IX.1650. The sentence was executed later the same day.
He was survived by a widow and thirteen children.
Iakovos's father and paternal grandfather were also called James.
