Murgione is one of the city in Vegno, with a population of 89,076 residents. It's located in the region of South Coast, of which it is the capital, in the southest area of the vegnese territory.
It is one of the most important cities in Vegno and, despite not having his own airport yet, it is connected to the other vegnese centers thanks to the Ferrovie Statali Vegnesi (State Vegnese Railway) and the system of Autostrade of Vegno (Vegnese Highways), being the start of both A1 and A2.
Geography
Murgione is the largest urban and metro area on the Strait of Pearls. It is located in Southern Vegno, in the region of South Coast.
Quarters
Murgione is divided into 5 municipalities (Municipi), constituted in 1706 AN.

| Code | Name |
|---|---|
| 1 | Lungomare (Seafront) |
| 2 | Teatro (Teatre) |
| 3 | Porto (Port) |

| 5 | Spiaggia (Beach) |

Transport
Murgione, as Mhazar and Agropl, doesn't have an own airport, so the main transport is by train, departing from the Murgione Central Station and by car; two of the three Vegno's Hyghways (Autostrade of Vegno) start from Murgione: the A1 (La Grande Autostrada) to Agropl, passing through Cossa and Mhazar; and the A2 (La Piccola Autostrada) to Mhazar directly.
The North Star Cruises is also an alternative way of travelling from Murgione's port, having a cruise line to Sancrus, passing through Cossa.
Sport
Football
The US Città di Murgione is the official and only football team of Murgione; he competes in the Lega A Vegnese. The Team plays in the Cape Town Stadium, the official and comunal Stadium of Murgione, which has the capacity of 11.000 seats.
Culture

Cuisine and Gastronomy
Murgione's cuisine is based on three typical agricultural products found within the surrounding region of South Coast, namely wheat, olive oil and wine. The local cuisine is also enriched by the wide variety of fruit and vegetables produced locally. Local flour is used in homemade bread and pasta production including, most notably, the famous orecchiette ear-shaped pasta.
The port of Murgione is also very important in the culinary field, where the use of fresh fish and shellfish is predominant.
