Mehmet Arslan is a politician in New Batavia. He became the nation's 6th president after Saladin left office to become Sultan of Kurum Ash-Sharqia. Arslan retired in 2023.
On December 12, 2021, at the signing ceremony of the free trade agreement between New Batavia and Kurum Ash-Sharqia, he was presented the Grand Cordon in the Order of As-Saif.
