Lysstyrer or formally known as Lysstyrer Alliance is collection of semi-autonomous cantons which first record of independency as a single unified sovereign state around 1686. The country named itself as translated to Standard language, Light guider, after their unique technology involving glowing asteroid fragment found in northern area of Lysstyrer.

Geography

Smedberg

The Crater town, capital city of Lysstyrer. A center of heavy industry of the country, build into an old crater which now carved into gigantic open pit mine.

Katteskogen

Forest where the cat live. An agriculture town.

Climate

Being at a far northern corner of Micras, most of the country lies either at a very high altitude, at a location north of the Micrasian Arctic Circle, or both. The vast majority of the country is unfit for human habitation above ground, and so most farming is done underground using techniques unique to the Lysstyrer people, to include hydroponics, aeroponics, and other modernized agricultural methods. Most tree-derived food is imported from the south, where the climate of The Hexarchy allows for vast orchards of exotic fruits to derive.

The Smedberg region is an exception to the very cold, mountain tundra climate of the region. Thanks to the 1685 asteroid impact that wiped out the previous Storish inhabitants in the region, the Smedberg area enjoys a low altitude in its oddly circular shaped territory. The region enjoys summer access to the ocean via a port to the north, and the natural inlets deep into Lysser territory created by the asteroid impact allow for a very limited amount of international trade with nearby Normark and Samholdsøya in the far north of Micras.

Similarly, the southern portions of the Katteskogen region experience a closer-to-normal growing season, providing most of the domestic output of Lysstyrer's domestic above-ground food output. The region's northwest, while covered in permafrost, gives way to taiga in the mid latitudes, and a temperate zone in the west and south where the vast mountain ranges finally end.
