The Sanilla national football team is the football team which currently represents the micronation of Sanilla, and previously represented the Shirerithian protectorate of the same name. It is a member of the WMFA.

History

Sanilla applied successfully to join the FMF after the protectorate was founded by Shireroth in mid-2012. Soon afterwards, Sanilla successfully bid to host the inaugural Benacia Cup later in the year, where the team came second in their group with two draws, but lost the third-place play-off to neighbours Shireroth 2–1. Sanilla seceded from Shireroth later in the year.

In their first qualification campaign, the team finished second in their four-team group, behind Shireroth by two points, and reached the 2013 Benacia Cup. In the finals, the team finished second in the five-team group with seven points, above Shireroth on goal difference, to advance to the final, where they lost to Tellia 2–1 in extra time.
