Jone Sharka (Neo-Retic: Ђоне Шарка) is a Brezovan and Yavorinian Predsed since 1746 AN.

Early life and education

Sharka was born in 1695 in Mitrovska, Hurmu. Sharka’s father was a mechanical engineer, while his mother was a fashion stylist. His family, being originally from Astaronian city of Micograd (now Micabad), settled Mitrovska fleeing Sylvanian National Awakening. He completed primary school, gymnasium, as well as bachelor's and master's studies at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Mitrovska.

Career

When the civil conflict in Hurmu intensified in his home city in early 1720, Sharka left and relocated to Chambéry, Nouvelle Alexandrie, where he worked various jobs that made use of his polyglot abilities. During his time in Chambéry, he met Damek Kmitsan, with whom he developed a close personal friendship. He returned to Hurmu in 1721, where he began working in the public sector in his professional field. Seven years later, Kmitsan invited Sharka to join his company, Damécom, an offer he gladly accepted. With the help of Sharka’s expertise, the company expanded and grew its markets.

Brezovo and Yavorina

Sharka was appointed as Predsed on 23.XIII.1746, and since then presides the Brezovan and Yavorinian government.

Personal life

Shortly after his birth, he was baptized in the Corian Orthodox Church, which he still adheres to.

In 1720 he married Nikoleta Herbar, with whom he has five children: Vasili (born 1721), Nevena (born 1723), Vukan (born 1725), Maya (born 1728), and Dushan (born 1729). The couple divorced in 1754.

Sharka is a passionate traveler, noting that he has visited every continent and most countries he was permitted to enter. His first journey took place shortly after he turned eighteen, when he received his first passport and traveled to Çakaristan.

He speaks Krasnocorian, Hurmu Norse, Lakkvian, Istvanistani, Alexandrian, Martino, Babkhi, Ranentsian, Sarnechi, Ocian, and Mishalanese. He has actively participated in the creation and early development of the Neo-Retic language and is fascinated by Retic culture, having participated in numerous initiatives aimed at its preservation.
