Tephal (Elw: Тефал, Tefal) is a Sovereign bailiwick and port in the Exclusion Diocese on the eastern coast of the Benacian Union. The city itself was destroyed on 20.XIV.1695 AN during the Scouring, a limited nuclear exchange that occurred during the final months of the Second Elwynnese Civil War, bringing the population from well over one million down to a quarter of that.

While the city and its surviving populace largely migrated to surrounding Bailiwicks, the port itself had suffered relatively little damage during the war thanks to heavy mining. In 1703 the duties of administration and rehabilitation for the port was granted to the Cult of the Sacred Detonation which, along with Szodansdron (formerly Kingsgate) compose the respective eastern and southernmost corners of the Exclusion Diocese.
