Born into one of the most prominent Cibolan Saxon families, he is a direct descendent of the King of Leichenberg's one-time chief minister, Karl Drosselmeyer. A lawyer by profession, Drosselmeyer rose to power during the 1702 Mondo Cibolan offensive as leader of the victorious Mondo Party (Cibolan Saxon: Mondopartei). He retired in 1741 AN.
