The House of Van Looveren is a noble house of Kurum Ash-Sharqia. It was founded in 1722 AN by Faisal Van Looveren when he was created Sheikh of Oud Laar. Faisal Van Looveren is considered to be Kurum Ash-Sharqia's founding father and was the first to be ennobled by Sultan Salah Ad-Din I.
