The Dutch of Vigeland (of Vigeland Street in Shirekeep; Dutchess of Vigeland if held by a woman) is a title of nobility in the Imperial Peerage of Shireroth. Created in 1707 under the Treaty of Gaelen's Landing for Aurelia Myksos, who received the title as a consolation prize for losing the title Dutchess of Kildare the same year.
The Treaty stipulated that, "upon her [i.e., Aurelia Myksos's] death or removal from the title, the title shall succeed to her legitimate descendants from her union with Her Illustriousness Lady Sara Eskenderion Avon-El Ayreon-Kalirion, Princess among the Lakes, with preference to older siblings and their descendants over younger siblings and their descendants, with no discrimination on gender." As such, the rules of succession for this title by-passes Aurelia's children with Jason Derider – Amelia and Theodosius – and the heir-apparent to the title is the son of Aurelia and Sara, Marcus Eskender. However, Aurelia rejected the title, seeing it as an insult to her, and the title was officially passed on, in accordance with the Treaty, to her son Marcus.
The name of the title, Vigeland, alludes to Marcus's grandfather's (also named Marcus) suppressed title Viscount Vigeland.
Vigeland Street, the land associated with this title, is named after former Prætor, Aasmund Vigeland.
