Viscount Vigeland
The Viscount Vigeland is a title of nobility in the Imperial Peerage of Shireroth, bestowed in 1654 on Marcus Myksos by Regent Ryker Everstone. Marcus Myksos, previously a Baron of Shireroth as Baron Vigeland, had engaged in rebellion against Kaiseress Noor, refusing to recognize her kaisership, while claiming his own kaisership as Kaiser Mors V. In the end, he recognized the legitimate kaisership in 1651, and raised to Viscount Vigeland in 1654, four years after the death of Noor, and restored to the Imperial Peerage in recognition of this change of heart, as well as some other agreements with the Golden Mango Throne.
The decree admitting him to the peerage said: We restore Marcus Myksos to the Imperial Peerage with the degree, dignity and title of Viscount Vigeland, of Vigeland House in the Territory of Novaya Sorensk, and that upon his death or removal from the title, the title shall succeed to his legitimate descendants, with preference to the eldest, with no discrimination on gender.
In 1689, Marcus Myksos was removed from the nobility due to caste shame after he had denied the legitimacy of Kaiseress Salome. As such, the title was suppressed, and Marcus Myksos was legally renamed Marcus Esposito in Shireroth. When Marcus died in 1696, the title was restored to his only child and daughter, Aurelia Myksos, who was loyal to the crown. Upon her death in 1726, the title was inherited by her eldest son, Theodosius Myksos.
