History
The town was founded in mid-2012 when the dependency of Lucerne was established by Mercury.
Geography
Charon is located to the south of the island of Lucerne.
Transport
Charon links Lucerne to North Antarctica via the Charon Hovercraft, running every 30 minutes during the day. Lucerne's scarce road network joins Charon to the rest of the island, with the main stretch of the L1 running between Lucerne and Charon.
Sport
Charon's football club play their matches in Lucerne's Westport Road stadium.
