Varaz, a Raspurid satrapy under Constancian administration.
Governance
Initially governed by a Civil Administrator for Raspur starting 21.VIII.1668, and later on a Minister for Raspur, it was directly governed by a Civil Administrator for Varaz, in the person of Ostāndār Farrokh beginning 13.I.1694, who reported to the Minister of Raspur, Yasmina al-Noor.
A consultative assembly known as the Varaz Durbar provides counsel to the Civil Administrator for Varaz, who exercises plenipotentiary authority within Varaz.
The Civil Administrator for Varaz is also de facto civil executive and mayor for the capital city, Golshan-e Mey. In Bandar-e Saghi, the Superintendent of Works serves as de facto civil executive and mayor.
