TREATY OF THE INCORPORATION OF SINT BARENTSZ INTO THE SENYAN SOCIETY

BY WAY OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN

THE REPUBLIC OF SINT BARENTSZ

AND

THE DEMOCRATIC ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIETY OF SENYA


His Excellency, Willem de Veer, Stadholder of Sint Barentsz

and

His Excellency, Barnaby Hands, President of Senya

undertanding the urgend need for the assistance of the people of Sint Barentsz and recognising the long-term need for stability and economic prosperity of the island acknowledges:

Article I – Peace and friendship
The peoples of Sint Barentsz and Senya commit to a long lasting future of peace and freedom, with the understanding that this will take place in the context of the Senyan society.

Article II - Sovereignty
Both parties acknowledge the transfer of sovereignty of the island of Sint Barentsz into Senya, including waters held under the exclusive economic zones of each country laid out under the Convention on the Laws of the Seas.

Article III - Autonomy
Sint Barentsz will gain the status of an autonomous territory of Senya, gaining it equal status to that of Lamantia. This will allow it to maintain its own legislature, pass its own laws, retain its own police, fire and ambulance services, as well as collect its own taxes.

The new official name will be the Autonomous Territory of Sint Barentsz and will be eligible to elect representatives to the Senyan National Democratic Forum from the subsequent election from the incorporation onwards.

The name of Sint Barentsz must not be changed for a period of 10 Norton years from the date of the incorporation's approval by the Micras Cartography Society.

Article IV - Language
Senya will recognise the use of Apollonian Dietsch as the sole official language of Sint Barentsz, whilst Senyan language and Common Tongue translations must be available to all services providing connections to and/or dealing with the rest of Senya.

Article V - Sports
Sint Barentsz will retain the right to operate their own sporting teams in international competitions. Additionally, no discrimination may be placed on athletes from Sint Barentsz participating in Senyan competitions in any sport, nor shall their right to participate in sporting competitions external to Senya be hindered. Dynamo Noord will be admitted to the Senyan League in the Fourth Division from the start of the 2022–23 season.

Article VI - Economic activity
Products of Sint Barentsz will be available to the Senyan market without restriction, and the Senyan government commits to providing preferential economic terms to allow products and companies from Sint Barentsz to establish themselves on the Senyan market for a period of at least 15 Norton years.

Article VII - International standings
Upon the signing of the treaty, all international obligations and treaties signed by Senya will automatically come into force for Sint Barentsz.
