Template documentation

This template produces an infobox for non-binding opinions adopted (or proposed for adoption) by the General Assembly of the Micras Treaty Organization (MTO) under Article 10 of the General Membership Treaty. An MTO Opinion becomes an official Opinion only upon a unanimous vote of the General Assembly; resolutions for an Opinion that fail to reach unanimity are nonetheless documented as named instruments and may use this infobox.

Parameters

Each parameter is optional. Parameters left blank are not displayed.

• organ: The MTO organ that considered the Opinion. Defaults to General Assembly when blank; under Article 10 of the General Membership Treaty, MTO Opinions are adopted by the General Assembly.
• title: Short title of the Opinion (e.g. Condemnation of Chattel Slavery). Defaults to the page name.
• image: Filename of an associated image.
• image_size: Optional override for image size (e.g. 220px).
• image_alt: Alt text for the image.
• caption: Caption shown beneath the image.
• subject: Brief description of what the Opinion concerns.
• proposed_by: Member state, organ, or office that proposed the underlying resolution. Both member states and the Secretariat may propose.
• amended_by: Delegation(s) that amended the text during debate, if any.
• session: General Assembly session at which the Opinion was considered.
• code: Internal MTO document code, if assigned (e.g. MTO/GA/OPI/1747-01).
• document: Wikilink or external link to the full text of the Opinion.
• year: Anno Nortone year of consideration. Use {{AN}} where appropriate.
• discussion: Date range during which the Opinion was discussed (e.g. 20 Jul – 27 Jul 2020).
• voting: Date range during which formal voting was held.
• delivered: Date the Secretary-General delivered the Opinion to the wider micronational community (only meaningful for adopted Opinions; per Article 5a of the General Membership Treaty).
• delivered_by: The Secretary-General who delivered the Opinion.
• for: Number of votes in favour.
• against: Number of votes against.
• presentnotvoting: Number of members present but not voting (the Present vote).
• late_votes: Number of votes cast after the formal voting period closed, if any.
• absent: Number of members absent.
• result: Outcome. Common values: Adopted unanimously (the only way to become an official MTO Opinion), Failed to reach unanimity, Withdrawn, Pending.
• supersedes: Earlier Opinion(s) that this Opinion supersedes.
• superseded_by: Later Opinion(s) that supersede this Opinion.
• related: Related Opinions, resolutions, or treaties.
• forumlink: External link to the forum thread where the Opinion was debated and voted on.
• footnotes: References shown in the box's footer.
