Template documentation

This template produces an infobox for procedural and substantive motions tabled before organs of the Micras Treaty Organization (MTO). It complements {{Infobox MTO resolution}} (used for adopted resolutions) and is modelled on the existing {{Infobox MCS motion}}, adapted to MTO conventions and house colours.

To use this template, paste the following at the top of an MTO motion article:

Parameters

Each parameter is optional. Parameters left blank are not displayed.

• organ: The MTO organ before which the motion was raised. Defaults to General Assembly when blank.
• title: Short title of the motion (e.g. Motion to Suspend Standing Orders). Defaults to the page name.
• image: Filename of an associated image.
• image_size: Optional override for image size (e.g. 220px).
• image_alt: Alt text for the image.
• caption: Caption shown beneath the image.
• subject: Brief description of what the motion concerns.
• type: Type of motion (e.g. Procedural, Substantive, Censure, Order of business).
• mover: Member state or delegate who moved the motion.
• seconder: Member state or delegate who seconded the motion, if applicable.
• raised: Date the motion was raised.
• passed: Date the motion was disposed of (passed, defeated, withdrawn).
• code: Internal MTO document code, if assigned (e.g. MTO/GA/MOT/1746-04).
• for: Number of votes in favour.
• against: Number of votes against.
• abstention: Number of abstentions.
• absent: Number of members absent.
• presentnotvoting: Number of members present but not voting.
• result: Outcome (Carried, Defeated, Withdrawn, Lapsed, etc.).
• forumlink: External link to the forum thread where the motion was debated.
• footnotes: References shown in the box's footer.
