Template documentation

This template produces an infobox for declarations and statements of principle adopted by organs of the Micras Treaty Organization (MTO). Declarations are typically non-binding instruments — distinct from {{Infobox MTO resolution}} (operative resolutions) and {{Infobox MTO treaty}} (binding treaty instruments). Declarations may be adopted by vote or by consensus; the method field captures that distinction and the Vote section is omitted automatically when no tally is provided.

Parameters

Each parameter is optional. Parameters left blank are not displayed.

• organ: MTO organ that adopted the declaration. Defaults to General Assembly when blank.
• name: Common short name. Defaults to the page name.
• long_name: Full official title (e.g. Declaration on the Sovereign Equality of Member States).
• type: Instrument type (e.g. Declaration, Statement of principle, Joint declaration, Common position).
• image, image_size, image_alt, caption: Optional image and metadata (signing photo, document scan, seal).
• date: Date of adoption.
• year: Anno Nortone year. Use {{AN}} where appropriate.
• meeting: Session or meeting at which adopted.
• location: Place of adoption (often the host city of the conference).
• code: Internal MTO document code (e.g. MTO/GA/DEC/1746-04).
• document: Wikilink or external link to the full text.
• subject: Short description of the subject matter.
• sponsors: Sponsoring or co-sponsoring member states.
• method: How the declaration was adopted (e.g. Consensus, Acclamation, Recorded vote, Roll-call vote).
• votemap, votemap_size, votemap_alt: Vote-distribution map (only used when adopted by recorded vote).
• for, against, abstention, absent, presentnotvoting: Vote tallies (only used when adopted by recorded vote).
• result: Outcome (Adopted, Adopted by consensus, Adopted without a vote, Rejected, etc.).
• languages: Authentic languages of the text.
• supersedes: Earlier instruments replaced by this declaration.
• superseded_by: Later instruments that replace this declaration.
• related: Related declarations, resolutions, or treaties.
• footnotes: References shown in the box's footer.
