The first class of 1711 AN, transferred to the Cimmeria and Raikoth Special Autonomous Region for the purpose of participating in Humanistic educational trials.

The Special Vocational Education and Training School, founded on 13.I.1711 AN at Vanaheim, is a chartered body of the Benacian Academy established for the purpose of studying the application of Raikothlin harmonisation techniques upon "wayward youths". Should the experimental procedures prove successful, the next stage would be to incorporate the learnings into the gymnasia curriculum of the Academy, and to apply the same to those institutions across the Union-State.

Curriculum

Chosen subjects were inducted into the school at the age of eleven and subjected to an acclimatising year of intensive ainaive conditioning, combined with remedial lessons in basic arithmetic and literacy.

Ainaive

The ainaive is mental training with physical and psychological components. This can include Breath-exercises', meditation, and posture adjustment alongside galvanic skin response to pin down the unconscious mind and to measure progress. Test subjects would receive nutritional supplementation in order to encourage the brain to get into an uncritically relaxed, happy state, and a lot of muscle exercises would be undertaken to locate tension and eliminate it. In the advanced portions of the Ainaive, test subjects would move on to taking psychoactive drugs. Dosages would be administered not to achieve a permanent chemically adjusted state of mind, but rather to provide changes and insights that remain after the effects have worn off. For the initial trials varying dosages of psilocybin were administered to the test subjects once with their morning milk and again immediately prior to ainaive sessions. The goal was to induce transformative mystical experience that causes a permanent rewiring of the brain to be receptive of Humanist insights delivered during the course of ainaive sessions. After the initial training was over, Test subjects were evaluated for their calmness, contentment, problem solving abilities, and acceptance of Humanist societal and political messaging with equanimity and acceptance instead of demonstrating unreasonable anxiety or hostility. The ideal test subject would, at the conclusion of the training, be accepting of Humanist Cosmology, a steadfast defender of the Human Supremacy, who acknowledges the necessity of the Coordinated State for the attainment of a truly just Harmonious Society. A successful test subject would be thereafter motivated by those philosophical truths instead of "being driven by their neuroses into desperate choices necessary for psychological survival".

Conclusions

Initial assessments led to a recommendation that ainaive be included as a part of primary school education in the Benacian Union, particularly for those subjects identified for progression into Humanist Institutes as part of their higher level education and indoctrination as preparation for service in the Humanist Vanguard.

For presentational reasons, it was concluded that any implementation of the system on the mainland would require a new lexicon to be introduced, so as to minimise any apparent Raikothlin influence - owing to past presentation of Hyperboreans as a deeply alien "enemy other" set in opposition to the good and virtuous population of the Benacian continent.

Later studies

During 1730 AN1733 AN the school would begin participation in a series of clinical trials, overseen by the Benacian Academy, investigating the impact that microdosing Lyserium would have on children undergoing ainaive therapy.
