Slobenberg is the largest hold by population within the Kingdom of Ashinthael. It encapsulates the industrial centre of the kingdom. Whereas the other Holds produce mostly raw goods, these are almost exclusively sent to Slobenberg for processing in its many factories. These goods are then exported abroad via the port at Slograde. The area remains one of the last few bastions of Slobovian culture on Micras, the other largest ethnic group being found in neighboring Transprinitica. Slobenburg is the only coastal access that Ashinthael has and thus its only means of international export via sea route without going through foreign territory. The small strip of oceanfront land is known locally as the Kurgan Coast, a name dating back to the era of Crowsilver.
