Slograde is the largest city in Ashinthael and its only major port. As such it serves as the main arterial point of imports and exports for the country. The city is a major industrial center - the largest in the kingdom - and processes much of the raw materials produced by the rest Ashinthael. The city was settled by ethnic Slobovians whose ancestral homeland straddles both Ashinthael and neighboring Hurmu, and they continue to make up a large percentage of the city's population.
