The Aerla project is meant to bring a people to Micras that include the following characteristics:
- A previously isolated society attempting to adapt to statehood
- A young nation's attempt at creating politics
- Finding a place in the world etc etc
Technology in Aerla:
- Automobiles and trains dating from the late 1960s to early 1970s
- Electricity mostly only in bigger settlements
- Developing industry
- No major highways due to geographic challenges
Languages spoken in Aerla:
- Common Tongue (English): Spoken as the standard language of academia and urban populations
- Aerlan Commonspeak: Creole-based language spoken mostly by the rural poor and uneducated
- Ranentsian (Bulgarian): Spoken by those living within the Ranentsi Autonomous Region
- Hatayyian (Levantine Arabic): Spoken by those living in and around Yasid, also the primary of language for Umraists
- Karnali (Nepali): Spoken by the small population of Karnali people in the very north of Aerla
