The Schmallspurradpanzergefechtswagen I, often abbreviated as SchSpRaPzGfWa I is a wheeled armoured fighting vehicle that was developed by Osthügel Motorenwerke. The vehicle shares its cannon with the heavy tank Panzergefechtswagen II, but on a significantly lighter and smaller chassis, sacrificing protection for mobility without sacrificing firepower. The vehicle was designed to overcome the struggles with deploying heavy tanks in the densely forested Lanzerwald forest, a limitation that became painfully clear during the Third Ludwiggian-Monovian War, in which the armed forces of the Lanzerwald Republic found themselves relying on foreign-made equipment, rather than domestically produced weaponry.
