The Panzergefechtswagen II, abbreviated as PzGfWa II, is an armoured vehicle that was developed by Osthügel Motorenwerke. The vehicle was derived from the Panzergefechtswagen I that was first put into service in X.1716 during the 1716 Ludwiggian Restoration. The Panzergefechtswagen II was developed after inquiries from the Meckelnburgh National Guard and the armed forces of the Confoederatio Aemilia. After being developed in secret, the vehicle was presented to the world on 2.X.1734.

Characteristics

The PzGfWa II is a heavy tank that is 11 meters long, is 2.6 meters high and 3.5 meters wide. Armour on the front, side and is 1200 millimetres thick. The vehicle has a weight of 65 tonnes and is powered by the OMW 20L12C 1400BHP engine. With this powerful engine, the tank is able to achieve a speed of 60 km/h in terrain and 90 km/h on asphalt roads. The PzGfWa II is fitted with a 140mm gun, developed by Waffenschmiederei Ludwigshafen and is known as the Flachfeuergeschütz 140/1734. Secondary armament is a dual machine gun.
