Rugby at the 2018 Micras Games – Men's rugby league qualification
Qualification for the Men's rugby league tournament at the 2018 Micras Games was determined by a series of regional round-robin competitions. Hosts Jingdao received an automatic berth, while the other twenty-eight entrants had an opportunity to qualify for ten spots in the Micras Games. Seven teams qualified through this stage and an additional berth was available via the repechage round, which was contested by the highest-ranked unqualified nations.

Format
The first stage of qualification is via the continental championships organised by the FMRL, from which, the three champions will qualify directly to the Micras Games. The other FMRL members all advance to the second stage, .
The second stage will be played over a number of regional round-robin groups, and is open to all members of the FMS. The lowest-ranked sides in each region will enter the preliminary round. The highest-ranked teams in this round will advance to the main qualifying rounds. In both the ARL and KRL regions, three teams will qualify for the Games, and in the SRL region, one team will qualify. The next-best teams will advance to the repechage.
