The Royal West Corumian Regiment is an infantry regiment of the Royal West Corumian Defence Force. It was formed on 14.XI.1753 AN by the merger of the 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 16th and 17th Mechanised Regiments of the East Zimian and Wallisian War League. Its regimental headquarters is located in Corum Electric City.
Current organisation
When first established, the regiment consisted of six battalions, but two were deactivated on 6.II.1754 AN in the military drawdown following the end of the Corum War. The first and second battalions are organised as gravimetric combined arms battalions under 4th (West Corumian) Brigade at Corum Electric City, with the second battalion relocating to Tsu in 1758 AN. The third and fifth battalions are assigned to 56th (West Corumian) Brigade and are based at Assek and Sparkstown respectively; originally operating L-10 wheeled APCs, they began re-equipping with gravimetric vehicles in 1758 AN.
NKR Insurrection
The 4th Battalion was reactivated in X.1754 AN as Western Corum's contribution to CATO operations in Anglien. The battalion saw significant action in the St. Aldric's Day Surge of 1756 AN, losing two soldiers, and for which it received the battle honour "Bahira 1756" from Natopian Empress Clara in 1760 AN.[1]
