The Restored Church is a religious movement that originated in Hurmu between 1712 and 1716. Through the Xäiville Convention interested students from Sankt Ludwigshafen and Hurmu, would study theology together at the University of Huyenkula in Hurmu. The students would have similar backgrounds, they were Nazarene but hailed from a nation that had a dark and interesting history involving Siseranism that many of the elders refused to talk about. In Hurmu especially there were still secret Siseranist doomsday cults that predicted the end of the world and wanted to accelerate it. At the same time, Nazarene theology would sometimes feel inadequate for modern times to these students. As such, a large group of students indulged themselves secretly into the Siseranist doomsday cults for a short while, but would usually leave them because of their extremist nature. Following the condemnation of the rebellion of the Ludwiggian people during the 1716 Ludwiggian Restoration, many former Nazarene finally broke with their church and established the Restored Church as a moderate Siseranist church that would celebrate the ancestors that followed Siseranism in history.

In contrast to Hurmudan Siseranism, Ludwiggian Siseranism is heavily influenced by Bovinism, and these influences found their way into the Restored Church. In addition to all familiar Siseranist writings, the Restored Church has also adopted the Tetrabiblios as a helpful set of books, with ongoing debate in the church whether they are truly canonical or merely deuterocanonical. All churches are encouraged to include worship of Bous in their yearly worship agenda. Contrary to mainstream Bovinist views, the Restored Church sees Bous as the dearly-loved the pet cow of Daughter-Goddess Sisera.

The church was officially founded on 1.I.1717 in Stadt Sankt Ludwigshafen, with twelve bishops from Sankt Ludwigshafen and twelve bishops from Hurmu attending. The church agreed that a general synod would be held every two years, in turns in Sankt Ludwigshafen and Hurmu.

Saints of the Restored Church

  • Mrs Donder and Elsa Donder, helpers of Sisera in the Hurmu Genocide in 1602. It should be noted however that the Restored Church rejects the notion of a Hurmu Genocide.
  • Ludwig von Blutwasser, Prince of Whales from 1624 to 1627 and 1628 to 1629, stubborn Siseranist believer in Natopia. The Restored Church rejects the authenticity of the diary that claims Ludwig was baptised in the Nazarene faith.
  • Siegfried von der Elfenbeinküste, rejected the mass conversion to the Nazarene faith in 1690 and died as a Siseranist in the nation that he had founded, but that had outlawed his religion.
