Mrs Donder

Mrs Donder (fl. 1602) was a Hurmu security guard, in the service of Sindre Nemnai, and has since become a figure in Siseranist mythology. She, and her sister Elsa, stabbed Sindre Nemnai to death with knives in the Palace of Elenaran, in an act overseen by Sisera herself, during the Hurmu genocide.

Born as a girl, Mrs Donder felt she wasn't accepted as a woman in Hurmu, as she couldn't become a security guard in a society dominated by males. She went to Safiria at the age of 19 to undergo gender-affirming surgery and become a man after which she was accepted into the service of the palace as a security guard. While initially happy about her transformation, she began listening to the words of High Priestess Sisera and was convinced she had made a mistake. In 1601, she clandestinely converted to Siseranism but remained in service as a security guard in the Palace of the Elenaran and was not open about identifying as a woman again until she met Sisera personally at the moment of the murder of Sindre Nemnai.

Mrs Donder had a sister, Elsa Donder, who also converted to Siseranism.
