The Red Moon Revolution is a rebellion in the Çakar Empire, directed against the Shahanshah. The name "Red Moon Revolution" was chosen by the media to have a term for this revolution. The revolution is led by Mao Myksos, who is the de facto leader of the Arzhav Revolutionary Army as well as the spiritual leader, especially in the eyes of activists and students. This is controversial because Mao is the uncle of Lucy Myksos, the Shahbanu of Çakaristan.
There are various facets to this revolution. The armed revolution was led by the Arzhav Revolutionary Army. This guerrilla group is believed to be based in the Khelaq Mountains. The political revolution was led by the Soviet Socialist Party, which has been gaining ground in the Çakari Congress since 1745. In addition, protests were organised by activists and students in large cities and the largest universities.
