Controversy
Red Bear has been criticised for its extremely high caffeine content of 80 mg/250 ml (32 mg/100 ml) per can. It also criticised for buying what was known as Dragonmoor City for ❂2 Billion. After the purchase, Senya, which has a very active Ultras scene, banned the sale of Red Bear and criticised the takeover. Also after the purchase, a breakaway team was formed called AFC Dragonmoor City. Which competed in the Regional Leagues for the 2017-18 season. However, after an unsuccessful period under Red Bear ownership, the club would be sold to a Supporters Trust. Red Bear still remains shareholders and major sponsors.
