The Reconquest of Blackstone was a short military intervention in 1705 under the leadership of the Calbain military leadership with the support of a large contingent of Iron Company mercenaries. It was part of the developments following the 1704 Free Elwynn elections that saw the political coalition that upheld the resistance in Free Elwynn crumble down, and certain liberal Verionists associated with the Iron Company move away from Northern Elwynn.
