Penelope Ariana Bikina (born 11.IX.1686 AN; Punta Santiago, Alduria) is a New Alexandrian political consultant, media strategist, and author. She currently serves as the national Spokesperson for the Liberty and Prosperity Alliance, a conservative political advocacy group in Nouvelle Alexandrie. Known for her sharp wit and media savvy, Bikina has become a prominent figure in New Alexandrian politics and a frequent commentator on national news programs.

Early life and education

Bikina was born in Punta Santiago, Alduria, to Marcus Bikina, a local businessman, and Elena Bikina (née Cortez), a schoolteacher. Her maternal uncle, Carlos Cortez, served as a Deputy of the Federal Assembly in the Alduria for the Federal Humanist Party and before that a member of the regional legislature, which sparked her early interest in politics. She attended the University of Punta Santiago, graduating with honors in 1707 AN with a double major in Political Science and Communications. During her time at university, Bikina was active in student government and worked as an intern for several local political campaigns. During her time in college, she met the man that became her husband, Gregory Hawthorne.

Career

After graduation, Bikina began her career as a junior staffer for the Federal Humanist Party in North Lyrica, a new Region of the growing Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie. Moving to Beaufort with her family, she quickly gained a reputation for her ability to craft effective messaging and handle media relations. In 1712 AN, she founded the Bikina Consulting Group, a political consulting firm that specialized in campaign strategy and crisis management. Bikina's firm gained national attention during the 1718 general election when she successfully managed the campaigns of several dark horse candidates for different elected offices on behalf of the Federal Humanist Party, employing innovative social media strategies and grassroots organizing techniques.

In 1723 AN, Bikina published her first book, "The Art of Political Persuasion: Winning Hearts and Minds in the Digital Age," which became a national bestseller and cemented her status as a leading voice in political communication.

Liberty and Prosperity Alliance

In 1734 AN, Bikina joined the Liberty and Prosperity Alliance after she was elected as an independent candidate to the Federal Assembly from North Lyrica. She was appointed as the national Spokesperson in 1735 AN. In this role, she has become a frequent presence on national news programs, known for her quick-witted responses and ability to stay on message in challenging interviews.

Personal life

Bikina married Gregory Hawthorne, a corporate lawyer, in 1709 AN. They have two children: Cassandra (born 1711 AN) and Alexander (born 1713 AN). The family resides in Beaufort, North Lyrica. An avid runner, Bikina has completed several marathons and often speaks about the importance of maintaining work-life balance in the fast-paced world of politics.

Controversies

Bikina has faced criticism for her sometimes confrontational media style and for her defense of controversial political figures. In 1733 AN, she was involved in a highly publicized dispute with Claudette Fontaine, accusing her of biased, faulty, and unsourced reporting.
