The Oportian Agricultural Federation (Alexandrian: Fédération Agricole Oportienne, FAO) is the primary national organization representing agricultural interests across Oportia. Established in 1719 AN during the early years of the Second Republic, the Federation operates as an umbrella organization for regional farming cooperatives, agricultural societies, and rural development groups throughout Oportia's 33 federal city-states. The organization emerged from the consolidation of various regional agricultural associations following the many territorial expansions through Oportia's history, which brought diverse agricultural regions under unified federal administration and created the need for coordinated agricultural representation.

Working closely with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the OAF serves multiple functions including policy advocacy, technical assistance coordination, and market facilitation for farming communities. The Federation operates through a network of regional chapters corresponding to each city-state, with its headquarters located in Vanie. During the Recession of 1737, the organization worked extensively with federal authorities to implement emergency agricultural support programs and advocated for protective measures on imported food products. The OAF has maintained political neutrality while collaborating with administrations across the political spectrum, from the Montijo administration's market-oriented policies to the Liberal Progressive Party's focus on environmental sustainability and rural social programs. Recent initiatives have concentrated on sustainable farming practices and agricultural technology integration to maintain Oportia's food security and export competitiveness.
