Nova English Royal Air Force
The Nova English Royal Air Force is the principle aerial-warfare component of the Nova English Armed Forces and is responsible for defending the sovereignty and interests of Nova England at home and abroad.
History
The Nova English Royal Air Force was established in 1920 to support the Nova English Army and Navy in operations by securing the airspace. Initially the NERAF utilised imported aircraft from New Britannia, before switching to indigenous designs such as the FM-24 Fighter Plane in 1924.
Following the Evacuations and the Great Disaster, the NERAF was disbanded with the majority of squadrons becoming absorbed into the Mercurian Armed Forces. However following the reestablishment of the Kingdom of Nova England, the Provisional Witan recruited a number of former pilots and servicemen to reinstate the organisation to assist its ground forces.

The Nova English Royal Air Force is currently composed of six squadrons;

- 4th Squadron (Base Protection Force)
- 5th Squadron (Counter Insurgency)
- 6th Squadron (Logistics)
