Navid Michelakis made national headlines when he was mentioned in dispatches on 8.XI.1698 in the course of Operation Paramount, as a Sarhang (Colonel) of the Imperial Constancian Army leading an advance towards Madinat Shahifa.
Commander of the Motorised Infantry Regiment, 1st Demi-Brigade, 1662nd Modan Brigade. Made Knight Commander of the Order of the Great Kingdom of Constancia during the 1704 Extraordinary Investiture.
Appointed inaugural Governor of Nouradin City on 1.I.1710, at which time he was raised to Taxiarchos (Brigadier).
