The Markion River flows through the heart of Geneva, the former Alexandrian capital and a special demesne of the Bovic Empire of the Natopian Nation, serving as both a vital waterway and cultural centerpiece of the city. Originating in the western highlands of Baudrix, the river stretches approximately 130 kilometers before emptying into the Bay of Geneva. Its meandering path through Geneva creates several small islands.
Local Genevans celebrate the annual River Festival each summer, featuring boat processions and floating lanterns that honor the waterway's significance to the local prosperity and identity.
